88-02 carbon fiber ss hoods I have found these for sale for $800 is this a good price and is the ram air functional on a Z28 or do I need to make changes to my induction system?I was planing on a SLP CAI.
The comercial says its about 40pounds lighter and I think they only have the ram air hood for sale any opinions and advice on these would be great.

that hood looks really really messed up...the carbon fiber looks terrible.
i really want a carbon fiber hood for my 94 z28, then i would get black rims. since the car is mystic teal

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I've done some simple carbon fiber projects, and even my amature attempts beat the hell out of that:

Don't claim to be a carbon fiber expert, just do my own little projects here and there. Surfaces are a lot smoother than the pictures make them out to be. I suck at digital photography.
