Default Just finished !molding - Why did I wait?

Don't know why I waited so long. It took less than an hour and it makes the car look much cleaner. The "TRANS AM" logo stands out much better now. It might be ready for some of DRAGONZs bling bling if he will do it.

Before:

After:

It started raining and I can't get pics outside.

The Fiero is what I drive when it rains. It is fun to drive with the V6.

Garage is actually a 3 car garage, 924 sq ft. It takes awhile to clean but it is also a good playroom for 20 mo old.

Molding was getting on my nerves as the finish didn't match the car's, but I was a little apprehensive about taking it off. Used a heat gun, GOO GONE, gloves, thumbs, clay bar and job complete.

So the finish under the molding matched the rest of the car fine?

Matches perfectly. The car is only 3 1/2 yrs old and the past year has been in a garage but I don't know about the previous. I removed the small strip from the rear first to make sure there were no discolorization issues. It is raining here today, so I will be using the pc to compound, polish, glaze, and wax. Can't wait to get it done.

Car and garage looks amazing!
