Thumbs up Photos - Year One Experience 2006
As promised, I snapped a TON of photos at the event. There were tons of sweet cars at the show, and I was glad to see several of them doing laps on the track too.

There are even a few pics of the Popular Hotrodding photo shoot of the Detroit Speed '69 Camaro, to show you guys how much effort it takes to produce photos as nice as Hunkins does. Thanks for the photo tips Johnny, your time was appreciated greatly!

I saw this '69 at the Charlotte AutoFair earlier this month, the details and quality in that Camaro are second to none!



I went last year and had some fun, wished I could've been there this year.

It was a very nice car, but one major CHEESY factor about it is that it still had craptastic drum brakes on the year with a set of those cheap looking disk brake simulator covers over them. Why spend a fortune on a car like that and skimp a couple hundred bucks to leave drum brakes on it?

How many cars did Unique Performance have out there? At the shop I work at we have been getting tons of stuff for them over the past few weeks.

Yeah, Year one is pimp. I was at the Year One event in Braselton in March. Lol, the only v6 to enter compeition. I didn't win anything, but I got to drool over a lot of other cars :]
