well i did a search and i found one that is lemans blue and it snot what i'm looking for, and everyone has NBM. How about pearl white on an lt1 car, anyone ever seen this? i'd rather have something dark but silver or white don't sound too bad either. Anyone have pics, of non factory colors?

I really like Honda's SI blue, I think it would look cool on an F-Body.
Chrysler also has an awesome blue color...I've seen it once on a Dodge Stratus, but I couldn't begin to tell you the name of it.

anyone have pics of an NBM lt1 firebird or a MRM lt1 firebird? I also like the atlantic blue color ford had a few years ago. I am basically wanting something dark that will look almost black at night but still look good during the day, and no i don't want black. I am going to be looking for something as deep as possible too, which i can make it as deep as i can possibly make it, thats no big deal but some colors naturally look deeper than others. Also i am going to have 2 sets of wheels for the car, a black set and a polished set, so its gotta look good w/ both

Dude, it's your money to do what you wish but may I ask why you want to change the color? I think your car looks great with it's current color. I'm sure you know that changing the color will require a lot more work which translates to a lot more $$$ to be done right. Just my 2 cents. Good luck with your color choice. NBM is an excellent color but I think I might be biased.

believe me i knwo what goes in to changing the color of a vehicle, and i will be doing the work myself. I just want something different and i want to keep this car so why not, and besides, working in a body shop, if i don't like NBM i'll change it back to the color it is now. I just need to decide because the motor is coming out soon and the car is coming apart so that i can do the chassis work on it and i need to figure it out so that i can paint the underbody and interior and under hood

I'd go with the teal on the 93 mustang cobra, it has metallic in it, or add metallic to what you have. That color is different, and clean...!

Jeez man for whatever it's worth to you, I think your car looks damn good right now! The only thing I would change is the antenna because other than that, it's smokin. Makes me look at the 93-97 style in a new light.

I was in the same boat as you with my 1994 Z. It needed to be repainted but I felt why go through all the work just to end up with a color other people got from the factory...
So first I went with a grey that was HORRIBLE due to the painter (looked good in this pic and ONLY this pic):
If it had been a Gunmetal grey with a Bright silver stripe (and a good paint job) it would have been cool but it wasn't. In person it actually looked purple...
SO, my friend Chris (Whistler) hooked me up with a new paint job. I was thinking Navy Blue Metallic but thankfully he talked me into Electron Blue:
You wouldn't BELIEVE the response that thing got at shows !
