Default vinyl stripes and washing car?

ok i've had my vinyl stripes on my SS a week and a half now and i was wondering how long do i have to wait to take my car through a car wash? the car has been in the sun everyday since i've had the stripes on so they've had time to settle i think. but you guys who know abit about this could you chime in?

be very careful when you take it to the car wash... i took mine to the pay and spray a month ago and was hosing it down on low pressure and one side just ripped off... i'd try to hand wash it if at all possible.... although my stripes were a year old... so, take it as you will.

I would just keep washing it by hand and stay away from car washes

Yes please stay away from car washes. If you want your car to stay looking good and the paint to look nice and free of crap and buildup, wash your car by hand. It's cheaper, more effective, and is more thorough.
