difference between porter cable da's?
 
well my b day was today and one of the gifts i got from my girlfriend is a porter cable polisher but heres the problem

she got me a model number 7336 all the kits ect i have been looking at say 7224 i was just wondering if theres a difference between the 2 and what differences there are... thanks in advance

The 7336 is marketed as a sander, the 7424 as a polisher. As Super Speed said, there are NO differences other than the fact that the 7424 used to ship with a #5 counterweight. The 7424 now comes with the more desirable #6 I believe, which has always been in the 7336.
