Default Small scratches in my lid after sanding and painting

Hey guys, I painted my lid myself, used 4 different grits of sand paper

250-400-600-1000

Anyways, after the sanding, and painting, it appears there are some fine scratches in it, I'm wondering what I should do?

Any help is apreciated thank you

How bad are the scratches? Pics?

Go polish your stuff.

I had minor scratches in mine after sanding it down. I tried my best to get them out but it just wasn't happening. I just put about 7-8 coats of paint on it with some clear coat and it's not really noticeable at all unless you inches from them.

Well I have a large sink in my laundry room, and just filled it up and wet sanded in there and wow. Holy crap it made the biggest difference. It looks perfect now. Not a single scratch on the whole damn thing lol
