It is their ZL1 style hood. I thought about it and called and talked to them but this is very similar to how our conversation went:
Me: Hey, I'm interested in your CF hood for the Camaro but had a few questions
DG: Ok, what are the questions
Me: Do you have any pics of the hood on a car?
DG: No sorry
Me: Have you sold any to anyone I can get a hold of?
DG: We have sold some but can't give out customer info
Me: Well I want to make sure the fitment is correct, thats an expensive hood and I don't feel like having to trim, bend a CF hood to get it to fit
DG: Sorry, no pics but it will fit
Me: Do you guys warranty the fit and the CF work? Is there a return policy if the hood doesn't fit right?
DG: All of our hoods will fit fine but there is no warranty on it and the hoods cannot be returned
That pretty much made me lose all interest in the hood. No pics, no one that I know of who has it, no pics of fitment, no warranty on the CF work, no return policy for a hood that doesn't fit. Yeah DG, I'll send you guys a unrefundable $1000+ to get a completely aftermarket cast and laid CF hood.

I didnt know VFN made complete CF hoods, I knew they made those partial ones though with just the scoop in CF.
Thanks for the info on your interaction with DGM I was very interested in getting that hood for a while I even had the page bookmarked. But now that I know its not warranited or refundable FOCK THAT.

RKsport makes one as well. The VFN is raw carbon fiber, not the woven look you are used to. The one RKsport offers is the smooth woven nice looking carbon fiber. You can get just the scoop or the entire hood. Same for the WS6 hood. There is a black T/A with carbon fiber nostrils on here somewhere

VFN will deffinatly make you any of their hoods in cosmetic or non cosmetic carbon fiber. I wanted my pin on Sunoco hood in non cos. CF but the wait was way to long. They don't stock the materials and the demand has been so high for CF that the suppliers whern't getting the materials out very fast at all. Give Jeanie a call, she's a sweet heart to deal with.

Damn the DGM one is nice. I have never seen a F-Body with one yet, I can see why $$$$. I think that hood would look nice on a blk camaro. Is there anyone that sells the Z28 hood in carbon fiber (Sleeper). I thought a lot of you guys would think its gay since no one really sports them.
