Default Been 3 months and finally got my camaro back (pics)

Well 3 months ago I had been in a wreck. A lady ran a stop sign and hit me and needless to say the body man wasnt a very good business man so it took him 3 months to do everything.

Here is pictures right after the wreck.

And I got it out of the body shop 3 days ago.

And its been in the body shop since May 12th I think.

I snapped some pictures of it just a mintue ago and here they are.

Too bad, you take care of your car and life hits you with a ....dirty Carfax report.

Does the car drive well? Any vibrations, or does it pull to one side, ect?

Yes it runs very smoothly but when It looses traction. The entire car starts to vibrates and rattles.

And it does run straight for the most part. Just minor things here and there.

The initial cost for the repair was only 2500 dollars.

But the body man I think scammed my insurance.

And they wrote him a check for 11 grand.

Which was more then what I paid for my car.

Well it definetly was a helluva lot more damage than $2500... $11,000 seems a bit high though

Is it just the pic or does the door molding not line up completely with the line from the quarter panel back?

That lady did a nice job on your car... Did the rear have to replaced? Look inside the hatch see how good they did the seam seal. The door molding not lining up was the first thing I noticed in that pic, take that back man, check the gaps on both sides of the hatch and see how similar they are, and how does the door line up with the quater? Those are kind of things I would look for when I got the car back. Three months thats some bullshit man. I wouldnt have put up with that.

Yes I know he was a crappy body man.

He kept making promises he never kept.

And he would have us in a bind and make us pissed off. But we couldnt take the car out cuz the insurance wouldnt pay to take it out. And he was already working on it.

And he dangled that infront of us.
