no. gm did not prduce them, berger chevrolet added that to their special eddition cars.

it is most of the time called berger panel, or retro tail panel....

best bet is to hit up a junkyard and paint it urself with flat black

You can paint your own, or do what 1SICV8 said and get one from a scrap yard and paint it flat black

Yea i know that, it came only the berger camaro, hence berger panel . i was wondering what gm called that piece, like for instance my car is red, it came with a stock piece between the taillights that says camaro on it, what is called.

FWIW,

The GM parts manual refers to it as "PANEL R/END FIN" Part #10262039

not rear valance...that would be something like the piece used for CME. taillight panel or taillight filler or rear filler or something like that.

The one posted is the one im looking at. i figure if i get it for 100 bucks and shipping is about 30 then its really not that bad of a deal. I dont want to paint my own because i want gloss back and like -freak- i too hate painting stuff because it never comes out right. Anyone know how much a body shop would charge to paint my stock one gloss black? i may just do that because im getting my ss spoiler painted too so might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

if i was doing flat black i would try and paint it myself, but i want gloss black and i dont think i will get the quality i want from a rattle can, i am very pick about my paint. i heard it was only like 60 bucks to paint a panel gloss black, but this was a primered panel, my red paint has to be stripped off of it and sanded and etc... right? how much extra would that be?

i dont know how much it would be. i just bought some satin black and some chrome letters for mine and did it in one day. i scuffed it up pretty good, then paited it lightly about three times. then for the last spray i went really heavy on it.
