Default need your opinion.....yes YOU

so ive decided i want to clean up the engine bay and i cant figure out what would look best.....

im going to paint the washer fluid resevoir and that ugly *** piece above it (yes the one you are thinking of).... since i just painted my ultra z today i have a bunch of bright ralley red (the color of my car obviously) left over along w/ 2 rattle cans of the same color...... should i paint them both my color red or gloss black.....

Hey Presto! I think gloss black would go best with those parts in the engine bay. Where are pics with the Ultra Z Hood?

ill have pics up soon... i wasnt planning on having it fully painted till tomorrow (but things worked out for the better)....so tonight and sat. im gonna let it fully cure and if i can get somebody to help me ill put it on sat. night.. if not ill have to wait till my buddy who helped me w/ all of this comes back into town sunday night and ill deff. have some photos up by monday...


i know the gloss black will look awesome but i have never seen one done in red before

I would go with a satin black. Try and break up the body color with some black and other colors. I`d keep it simple though

I would think those parts in the engine bay would look tacky if done in red. But hey you can always repaint...right! Direct people's attention to your engine and not brackets and such, know what I mean.

I would def go gloss black on the ugly peice. Your not painting the windsheild wiper thing are you? Long day at work I wouldn't touch that It would look really freakin weird painted. IMO

someone just painted that peice pewter, and it looked good

but id go with a black if it was me

You dont want to add ne more additional red paint to your red car than is needed.. i think Gloss Black would look the best, but be careful, too much paint = .. imo

thanks for the feedback.... i was thinking glossblack from the getgo but since i had the extra paint i was just wondering what it would look like (hoping somebody had done it and would post a pic).......

i agree... i think that colored wirelooms and things of that nature make all the ugly crap standout and makes the engine compartment look cluttered.....
although painted lids look really nice... maybe ill paint that(i really want to paint some more stuff)

yes i am planning on painting it... ive seen one painted before and it didnt look wierd at all

well its done..... it looks way better and im glad i did the washerfluid resevior and the ugly *** bracket..... the quality of this picture sucs but i assure you it looks sweet
