Looks incredible....more like a real V8. I never thought about how silver makes the fuel rails stand out.

Looks sweet! I'm in the process of painting my LS6 intake silver as well. I saved a lot of your pics from your other 2 threads to kinda stare at and guide me along as well as Parbreak's write up.

My A/C looked that good when it came out of the car. I'm working on my engine bay this week. I polished the front faces of my heads....even though only one of them is visible, throttle body is polished as well. I'm painting the LS6 intake a metallic silver, valvecovers metallic charcoal gray, I already painted the coil packs that same charcoal color as a test and it's nice. To top it off, I'm getting a K&N FIPK II and getting rid of the MAF when I get my speed density tune.

Nice job, Steve...you inspired me.

Fuel rail covers, they cover the coil packs and valve covers. Look in my thread about updated engine bay pics and you will see them.

The clear lid is an MTI, I bought it from Finish Line Performance , I believe they are still a sponsor.

The breather is to replace the PCV system essentially, while it doesnt work the same as PCV at all it still allows the heads to breath, the real reason I did it was so that I wouldn't get anymore oil consumption through the PCV system and keep my new intake manifold oil free! I got the breather from Speed Inc., a sponsor, they kick *** by the way, I ordered it late Wed. night and had it by Friday afternoon along with my plug wires.

As for the condensor, I started off with like 320 since its pretty smooth anyway (I probably would have started with 220 but I was out) then 400, 600, 800, and finally 1000, then I hit it with the metal polish, I got my hands on some 1500 and 2000 to really bring the shine out when I get some time.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, and adam I'm glad I've inspired you.

Oh and spuds, yes the !wire mod is definetely on my list of things to do, I just keep putting it off for some reason!

and as for the FRC's I'm really not planning on it, I like the look of engine, not plastic engine cover!

Things I am thinking about:

-Polishing or painting fuel rails (red?)
-polishing the throttle body
-Relocating the battery
-painting coils red or relocating
-polishing valve covers or painting (probably polish)
-!wire mod and !hoodlatch cable mod
