What are the most important parameter it will display that make it worth while? I think the red/black match the stock odomoter lcd nicely.

for me it was for the timing, manifold pressure and o2 mV readings. I diagnosed a couple bad o2's on my car by watching the readings. Also, I love being able to scan a code if one pops up and reset it without heading to an autozone or borrowing someones tool. The record function is also really nice because I can view the parameters after the run down the strip. It doesn't do everything but its a really nice piece to have.

I can view the KR, hopefully it stays at 0 all the time.

So you would spend the money for your current mods but you wouldn't spend the money for a gauge that takes the place of SEVERAL other gauges that doubles as a data logger?

Seems foolish to me.

Is there any way you can post up pictures of the back of the faceplate that just 'snaps into place?'

Also, with the capability to read analog signals, can you add an oil temperature sender to the engine/oil which could then be picked up by the gauge? I read through the user manual and saw that they do sell a connector to read a few other parameters, but it's kinda pricey.

Give new era performance a call, they are a site sponsor, I called them when I ordered my interceptor guage and single pod. Great people to deal with.

I don't have any pics of the back of it or the plate.
I've never looked into adding on to what it does...

One last question:

Does the gauge read the REAL water temperature, or does it stay fixed within a certain temp range (just like the stock water temp gauge)?

Brismo the Grave digger.

This gauge is awesome, i cant wait to get mine! And its cheap to. Imagine how much it would cost if you bought a seperate gauge for each function this single gauge shows. Big money, and it would look stupid having 20 gauges in your car. so $230 brand spankin new is F'ing cheap!! And these go for about $180 second hand.

Has anyone tapped into the analog feature of this gauge to show oil pressure/oil temp?
