Default Billit Grille and 69 style fog lights

I was going to wait till after the weekend to post pictures because I plan to take the grille back off and paint behind it Black, but I can just post updated pics after I do that. Anyway, I found some lights that looked similar to the 69 camaro lights and installed them (thanks to 5litereater for the idea).

Hope to get the 69 Z28 badges and blue bowtie on in the next month as well.

Won't paint the grille black, I could have ordered it powder coated if I wanted it that way. Painting the bumper behind the grille black so the chrome on the grille sticks out more.

The good thing is you can't see the two lights (well, if you really look you can) when they are off.

Better pics to come. Had to take those in a hurry.

I think he might have a problem if he runs headlights fogs and those 69 style fogs at the same time. Think there's some law about no more then 4 forward facing white lights at the same time.

You're welcome ! I was just wondering yesterday whatever happened with you (you're the guy I bought them for and mailed them to right?)... couldn't remember the screen name though...

And yes, they rock

That looks awesome! You wouldnt happen to have a write up of some sort? My fog lights dont work right now and I was thinkin about getting some and do what you 2 have done and just totally get rid of the stock fogs..

Like what lights are used, how do you mount them, etc?

We talked in your thread on LS2, but I just got the hair up my *** last Friday to head out to auto part stores and found these that I thought would work and gave it a try.

I couldn't mount them to the frame the way these lights are, so I had to fab up a Braket to mount them too, which worked out because I can easily reach in under the hood and take them off and adjust the angle.

Thanks for the Idea and showing pics, sorry to take your unique mod.

The hardest thing about them is getting them even IMO. I made an L bracket with a wide hole in top where the light mounts to so I could slid the light back and forth to help Align it. I wanted to take pics, but forgot my camera and was over at the parents house doing this (dad still has more tools then me lol) and their digital was dead. I still have to wire up a good switch like Demonbird or 5litereater did. I just tabed on to ignition and hide the ugly switch that came with my wiring harness until I could find a good switch.

Like i said, this was a last minute decision to try Friday.

could you just use fog lights from a T/A?? Also, seems like you could ditch the stockers and make those holes into brake cooling ducts....
