I would go with black halos for your car, the chrome ones look cheap. As far as corners I would go with orange bulb in clear with nightshade (3800RS's setup) or just get black housing corner lights with an orange bulb, or nightshade your stock corners, all look good in my opinion, I'm not a huge fan of the clear corners.

Silverstars in your halos? Not really necessary but if it's the look/ performance you are going for, try it out

I'd just go with the whistler headlight mod (black) if I was you. I used to like clear lenses but they look cheap to me now. so my vote goes for stock amber and maybe some lense shade. Just my opinion / not tryin to start nothin

I have the chrome ones, but contemplated going to a black style compliments of a can of spray paint.

My car has Chrome Halos and Clear Corners. It has been called quite a few things, but so far never "Busy or Cheap".

i would get clear corners for my own car if i could get them not to fog up. i have since given up and put the stock ambers back in. i might have my friend tint them for me and get halos.

Someone on here once told me to drill a hole in the bottom of your clear corners and they will stop fogging up. I havent tried it yet but he said it works.

Xtinct, in no way does your car look busy or cheap.

Black or chrome look good either way.

I've been thru two sets of clear corners because of the foging up. The set I have now I have had for 6 months and have had no problems.

All I did was load up the edges with my silicone and I even put some more RTV silicone on the O-ring around the bulb housing. That's where my first set was leaking from.

Now on my halos they used to look like this:

And I drilled the holes etc. and after a couple days of no result I just took a hair dryer to it and waited for everything to clear up. Also been another 6 months or so and have had no problems

Black hands down. Makes the ride look evil. Dont know about brands.

Both would look good, but I'd probably run with clear just to add that little extra something. I did a writeup on niteshades tho if u need any help and go that route. It's in the appearance hall of fame sticky. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

I like black housing better. The chrome looks too close to stock and the Black looks a lot like the whistler mod with the stocks painted (which is a mean look).

I have silverstars in mine now, but thinking of going to HID's for Christmas (if I get them for Christmas)!

Another vote for Black Halos. I ordered them with Orange Halos and HID kit from ledguages.com (see sponsor list). They arrive today!!! YESSS!!!!!! Can't wait to get home tonight.

I did see this thread a few days ago with a link to some ebay halos.
