MY SS grille

what do you guys think?http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...98/grille3.jpg

Ls1CamaroGuy87 11-17-2006 01:14 PM

eww, sorry but there is just not enough space between the horizontal bars. I would stronly recomend getting a regular style billet grille with about only 9 bars like most ppl have on here, it looks way better. IMO

Gluemaker 11-17-2006 01:22 PM

Hmmm, I like it, but there needs to be a little more spacing on those bars.

98redM6 11-17-2006 01:22 PM

I like that grille. It looks a little more subtle than the other grilles. Looks almost as it was a stock option. I have one of the grilles with the thicker bars and I like it on my car, but that looks great on your car, and I think it would look great on mine as well.

Where'd you get it from? Any pictures from a distance, maybe 10 feet?

noxiouSS 11-17-2006 01:30 PM

got it from some grille place in corona CA, had it painted black, then got SS fender badges from a chevellehttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...98/grille4.jpg

How did u make the SS emblem stay on the Grill?Thanx!

noxiouSS 11-17-2006 02:02 PM

it is a ss fender emblem from a 70 chevelle it has 2 pegs coming off the back of each letter and then it comes with these self threading nuts to go on the back. put it through the grille bars and use the nuts to hold them on.

Z'mnypit 11-17-2006 02:20 PM

I like it that that. I vote leave it..

SmokeySS 11-17-2006 02:32 PM

I think it looks very good. And I thank you for getting it painted black. The usual silver/polished billet grills are plain gross.

splitplug 11-17-2006 02:42 PM

Looks good, especially in black. And its original. Good job.

SLP LS1 11-17-2006 02:59 PM

Pritty clean cut, looks good! Haven't seen a grill like that

'96 Z28SS 11-17-2006 04:37 PM

looks great, one of the better billets out there. i dont like th other ones, they look like they are missing pieces

Adam_346 11-17-2006 04:44 PM

doesn't look that bad IMO , i like the other-style better , but hey at least its black :)

Magnet 11-17-2006 11:33 PM

it looks good but i would have rathered more space between bars also

W8S SS 11-18-2006 11:19 AM

i think it looks fine, it sets your car apart from the other billet grills i've seen. I like the old school SS badges too. get some black halo's and the front end will all match up.

subtlez28 11-18-2006 11:29 AM

I think it looks great! I like the other more spaced grilles in black also. Not sure which I like better. One or the other will b my next mod.

I like your whole car! The tinted corners realy work w your color!

I'm also torn betwwen old school bowtie or no emblems....

unSStoppable 11-18-2006 02:01 PM

looks like theres a gap between the bottom of the grill and the bumper... still a nice improvement

linemupz28 11-18-2006 02:34 PM

sweet.

Silver02TA 11-18-2006 02:36 PM

it looks ok.. it would probably look better from more than 1 foot away from the car though.
