I need new floormats and ive got my eye on some the SLP mats, but i dont really know how black mats would look. i know they have a tan option, but i think black might give a good contrast. any thoughts or pics on the subject. im probably going to rip up the carpet and replace it with black in the next year or so. i just remember an old Trucks episode where stacey put black floormats in a tahoe with tan carpet (the one that he put the escalade front end on). i thought it looked good. any replies would help. or if you know of any other good quality mats please give advice. thanks

i have the camel/black interior...My floor mats are black as well as my new seats coming in. As long as you keep the camel/black theme, it will look very nice and rich. I got rid of my seats b/c they were too hard to keep clean and just imagine floor mats...that would be a nightmare!

I have been contemplating this question too. I have tan interior with neutral carpet and mats and hate the mats to death. Kandy SS, do you have a picture? I might just change the carpet and mats soon.

I can get pics this coming week when I get the seats installed. It really does make the interior more custom looking. As long as you can still keep your tan/black theme, go for it.

Last christmas, my wife bought me black and red floor mats for our 01 SS. I love them. Some people dont like them, but to each his own. If you like it, then thats all that matters.

I have the oppiste, i have black carpet with tan mats. I like it and so does my wife. I would think it would look just as good with the black on tan. But all i can say is try any black floor mat to see if you like it then if you do get the slp mats.
