Where can I find something really bright ?
I just got personalized plates and I really want people to see them

Is there are really bright LED bulbs I can use ?

I tried some I got at Pep Boys and they were crap!

yea you will have to make your own circuit board and wire it all up. if you do a search you should be able to find a write up.

You can just put in another wledx5 led but the best is to make an led circuit board. I'm in the process right now.

Well I ordered 100 leds and after I found out that the place I ordered from was unsecure my bank account was hacked and lost some big bucks.

Once they finally came in the mail I found out they were for 3.2-3.4 volts

...I guess I could have PMed you but oh well.

Wow sorry to hear about that man! What site did you use so we all know where to be cautious?

And 3800RS is right. You need to use resistors. Most LEDs run at that voltage and you need resistors to take the voltage down.
