waxes,polishes& cleaners ok i would really like some ideas on what brands to use to REALLY detail my car. It is black and the paint is in fairly good condition. I just used some KIT scratch remover and it worked alright. any suggestions on what i should use and the technique in using cleaning products.

I just used mothes 3 step system on a black zo6 and it came out great. Mothers 3 step system is a cleaner wax,seal/glaze and a carnuaba wax. And use a oribital buffer with a micro fiber bonnet.

umm zaino is in no way a wax... its a polish that doesnt cut nor protect. all it does is make your paint shine like a mother trucker. I use mothers carnuaba wax that you can pick up at autozone or o'reilly, works like a charm. A few months back i waxed my car, it rained the next day and i left my car outside, came out a few hours later and the rain just fell off due to my mothers carnuaba wax!
