Thanks...you just reminded me to place another order.

Gotta gear up for this year's show season!

...oh and $160 for Zaino? Sounds like a bargain if you ask me!

This is a big step for me and my current hodge podge wax set up. I couldnt stand spending $40 bucks on wax and polishes and get mediocre results. Now I just have about 10 bottles of stuff to sort through and see if I should do the Z5-4324432 polisher before the Z98798yG wax or whatever. Then maybe mist everything with Super Z-1000 spray for quick trips or Z-23445 spray for a more durable finish. Oh dontmind me im just rambling

I'm going to get a porter cable next week i think. All this talk about buffing the car and seeing results here and at local meets i gotta do it. I'm looking at a place in houston that sells detailing stuff, i'll try and find the name. I wanna try Zaino but it's a little rich for my blood.

William

Polish that SS and post up some pics already!!!

For $160 you could have got a PC kit with polish and other goodies... w/o Zaino of course but I think Zaino is overated anyways.

Paint prep is the key to a great finish...regardless of the product used. Detailing is fun and rewarding.. ENJOY and post pics when your finished!

Got myself a PC with XL pad kit and pad cleaner/conditioner. Cost me about $200 though. Anyways, I heard Zaino (for best results) is to be put on and taken off by hand anyways, so a PC would be useless with that stuff.

Zaino is an excellent product line. I use it to seal in my hard work from polishing because it lasts, provides excellent protection, and gives me consistent results. Hard to go wrong with it, as long as you know what it can and can't do.

Zaino is great, you will not be disappointed if you use it for what it was intended to be used for. Don't think you are going to see a miracle happen right in front of you because you used only Zaino. (I've never used Zaino polishers so I will assume you just bought the finishing products)

The car needs to be prepped by using a polisher like a Porter Cable 7336 with various pads and various polishes. You can get a polisher from Lowes for $100 I believe, the pads usually run $10 a pad and there are 3 different styles ranging from soft to firm. Polishes really vary in price range and usually offer 3 or more levels of abrasiveness. I have poorboy polishes and I like them, they also work with Zaino because they don't have oils.

Once you're done with the whole polishing phase, then you will see how awesome Zaino really is...and oh yeah it lasts a real long time.
