I feel your pain. This goes tripple on a car that's not garage kept. It is possible, though, because there are a number of people on here that do it, but my next car will not be black.

Lol I sorta feel your pain guys. I've had two black cars and although the color is beautiful, never again.

Sure it is. How about a DD SUV? Check this out.

It's about about using the proper procedures and materials to help make your job easier. Followed by maintenance to help stay that way for longer periods.

You did a great job on that - it was inspiring me to detail mine today, but instead I ended up doing yard work/landscaping. Mine is a DD and I have no space in the garage. Combine that with road construction, a 100' Chinaberry tree and several 100' Oaks pollenating (not to mention I think one of the trees over the driveway now has a bird nest), and it's near impossible.

Yep, first and only time I'll own a black car. Looks amazing when it's clean, though. All 30 seconds of it.

If you dont have a place to garage be prepared to be out every weekend to clean it (assuming you use a carport). Otherwise just wash it every three days.

I have that same problem, but I have a car duster in my trunk so it's not too bad. This will definatly be the last black DD I have.

Mines not a DD, Thank god otherwise I'd prolly would have shot myself awhile ago. Mine won't stay clean for longer then 5 minutes when backing out of the garage, due to layers upon layers of wax it just attracts the dust like crazy.

I still think it's the BEST looking color when Clean for that short period of time, though.
