Default Need opinions on painting valve covers

i will also be installing a intake thats powder coated silver .and thinking of painting the valve covers ,but im lost what color would go good with a silver car . also thinking of painting the water pump also ..so give me some ideas guys what should i paint to add just a little charecter under the hood.

They polish up real nice. Takes some time, but worth it.

My LS6 intake was painted in Sebring Silver - had my valve covers chromed and the coil pack mounting rails powdercoated red.

Oh, and my T/A is Black, but I use Red/Silver accents thru out the car.

So Black/Red accents on a silver car would also look nice

I would go with Red on the valve covers if you're not gonna polish or chrome...

thats what i was thinking black or polish them out real nice..my outer them is sliver and black ..so any tips to polish them up alittle without haveing to send them to someone else..im looking to do it myself so i want be down any extra amount of time .so how did you guys polish yours share some tips

black or polished probably. a buddy of mine painted his red (white car)

I was thinking of painting my valve covers this weekend, do u have to replace the gasket once they are taken off?

Just buy FRC's and cover up all that stuff. That's what i did.

NO you don't have to replace the gasket when you take them off.
