Default Get polish off trim....

What's the easiest way to get polish/compound off of plastic trim pieces? Thanks, Steve.

I bought some wax remover from autopia or some place like that and it only slightly worked. I'd say one method is just as good as any other.

You're tellin me... I still have crappy looking door handles and trim on my beater.... and it was detailed last october Of course, I've been pretty damn lazy about tryin to get it off (that's what she said).

i ususally use a final wipe solvent with a rag and it comes rate off like nothing...or just get a bit of thinner on a rag and wipe the area and then wipe off with a dry rag..this works too

Agree - peanut butter works great. But it doesn't always get everything.

I'd try but don't have any... If the buffer/water doesn't work, I'll have to buy some.
