Swapped to trans am seats, now seat belt acting up.
Are there any differances between the seat belts in the camaro and trans am, as far as placement, or the seat belt hoop?
I swapped over to leather trans am seats with teh air bladders, and now I notice that whenever I drive the seatbelt is riding too high, almost cutting into my neck. Also, the curvature of the hoop seems to be twisting it, so when I go to pull it to snap into the reciever, it ends up getting all twisted. I used the hoop that came with the seats, so I don't know what the issue is. Are they reversed, so that instead of leaning forward like the camaro's, they are supposed to curve back?

May be a stupid question, but because you said its digging into your neck, I gotta ask.
Do the new seats have the seat belt guides on the side of the headrests? If so, did you reroute the seat belt through them? If they are not there or simply not routed through there, the belt will dig into your neck.
And yes as already stated, the belts are 100% interchangeable.

i know they are interchangeable, but as many people notice, they sit higher then the camaro seats.does the seatbelt cut into the necks of pontiac drivers, or is this some anomaly with camaros?

I don't really get it, I'm tall (6'4, 215) and I have the headrest in the higher position. Top of my head still kind of goes a little higher over the top of the rest. I would figure if anything it would be riding low.
