Default VFN 3 in SS Hood! Yes or No??

Few opinion questions to ask everyone! I have been asking around to see if some of my buddies around my area like this hood on my car. I have gotten some pro and con answers so I figure Ill get a few more F-Body owners opinions, so I can make my final decision. Oh yea I also already own an SS so I have the stock SS hood. I want to keep the SS look that why I was considering this hood! One more thing my car is in the paint shop as we speak and I know there is a 6-8 week wait to recieve the hood but it will be painted the Tangelo Orange like the Dick Harrel cars! FYI

1.) Do you guys think this hood is too much for a daily driver street car? Some guys are telling me this should be a drag car only hood. What do yall think?

2.) Also does it take away from the look of the car? Is it just too much?

3.) Does the hood have any functionality at all? Cowl or induction...it really doesnt matter if it has induction b/c Im procharged but just wondering.

There is also POLL is included in this thread so shoot me your poll opinon also.

you can back it up. i would NEVER put it on a stock car, but i dont think it would be out of place on yours. there is nothing like a car that sounds absolutely badass, that looks like its going to whoop your ***.

I love that hood. It really helps accent the car, the stock SS hood's scoop is barely there.

You can't go wrong either way, but I'd have to say that the 3" SS would be a monster of a hood for a monster of a car.

I think it overpowers the look of the car. you have the best looking hood for the car already besides a harrell style cowl hood but thats not in ur poll. I guess if u want to draw more attention that'd do it tho.

To some of you guys that are saying Yes! Do you think it will still look good with my street trim wheels and tires? I havent invested in a Moser 12 Bolt yet, so Nitto Drags are the best I can do with out snapin the rear. Of course once I upgrade Ill have a drag trim that I will be able to switch out, but for now Ive got the AR TTM - Black wheels. I think the hood is sick to especailly with the new paint Im throwin on her but still a little skeptical Any other opinons on this question??????

The hood will look sick in street trim and downright bad the **** *** with fats and skinnies. You can't go wrong man. I can't wait to get that hood for my car.
