Tainted Mar 25, 2007 05:23 PM

CD2 is an engine cleaner but you got to be very careful with it because it can be corrosive to aluminum parts but as you can see it gives it a good cleaning

SmokeySS Mar 25, 2007 06:29 PM

Citrus is corrosive to aluminum?

SpdFrk1990 Mar 25, 2007 06:33 PM

Yeh I never ever heard of cd2 being corrosive I think you might be talking about the engine degreaser I used engine bright and your suppose to get all that off or it can cause corrosion.

Disturbed Bird Mar 25, 2007 08:00 PM

wd40 will have the same look as the cd2 but will give a wet look for a lot longer

5550racing Mar 25, 2007 08:08 PM

Yeah. That shit is the greatest. Sucks autozone doesn't carry it anymore. Have fun replacing you knock sensors in a few months though.... :)

SpdFrk1990 Mar 25, 2007 11:25 PM

I didnt drown it enough to get the knock sensors all wet.

cowboysfan Mar 26, 2007 01:34 AM

looks good. I've used it before when the local auto parts used to sell it. I wondered why they stop carring it, since then I would use the green bottle, rag, and some elbow work looks good still but alot less work with CD2. I'll check Amozon.com .
