Default Painted my calipers (pics)

Well,I think it went well.. I used ls1howto.com write up and it went smooth.
I used the VHT paint (good for up to 1200 degrees F)

Sometime this week, I'm putting black Z06 Motorsports Wheels with rivets...
I'll post some pictures as soon as that happens.

Polish those caliper brackets. Does take some time, but well worth it. Yes, they will rust a bit, but a good polish like Mothers will stave it off for quite a while.

hell just finish the job and paint the caliper brackets. thats a great job you did. i need to do mine

I painted the brackets the same color as the caliper(all red) but i didnt paint the brake pads...

Yea, I see most people choose not to paint the brackets...just the caliper itself.
I will most likely polish the brackets with Mother's polish compound....

You'll need to smooth them first. I used 180 grit up to 600 wet grit then polished with a buffer and rouge(sp). As I said, takes some time. but worth it.
