Question [Search not working] What power source do you have your halo's hooked to?

I am thinking of hooking the halo's to the parking lights in the turn signal. That way when I turn on the parking lights, they will come on.

How else do you guys have them set to power on?

I tried to seach, but it's not working - just taking me to a white page.

I have the halo foglights on my trans am and that's how I did it as well. The wiring is a lot easier because the fogs are less than a foot away so I didn't have to screw with snaking wire to somewhere else.

It works out well because it helped me stay away from putting an extra switch in the car and also, the halos will only be on when it's dark out this way.

I spliced my halos into the smaller bulb on the turn signal. That way they dont flash when you have the turn signal on. They will also not be on during the day as the smaller bulbs are not on. You can also turn them on during the day if you want by turning the headlight switch to where its pointing straight up.

Yep, that is what I was planning to. I just didn't know if most people did it differently, or had a better way (idea??) to do it.

I did the fogs. You can't see the halos during the day so basically if you park and leave your foglight switch on, the halos will come on with your parking lights when you lock and unlock your car. Halos can only really be seen at night when your car is parked because during the day they are too light, and during night your lights will overpower them when you take off your parking brake.

Haha very nice idea

I have mine grounded to the DRL and powered to an extra ignition source on the fuse box panel and wired to an extra fog switch. Therefore, I can turn them on by their own switch at any time when I have the keys in the ignition (that way I don't forget and leave them on). Best way to go

anybody took the time to get a spare piggy back connector, switch of the foglight switch and splice in to the factory fog wires and run your halos ( so you have a swicoh for fogs and halos side by side in the center part) thats what i was planning ot do though i was wandering if anyone else has done it like that???

I think he is talking about having your fogs and halos on the same switch, and if you hit it to the left the halos will come on and if you hit it to the right the fogs will come on. At least, I think that is what he is sayin lol.

He's saying get another foglight switch (piggy back the wiring off the stock one for power, illumination, etc...) and use it for the Halos...

Mine are currently spliced into the parking lights so the Halos are on when the orange turn signal lights are on. Eventually they will be wired in through another fog light switch so I can turn them on and off as I please like was stated above by some others.
