buffing under T/A wing
I just started with the porter cable and was wandering what you do for under the wing. Figured I would just do that part by hand but is it worth going through all the steps if you don't use the da?

If I would take the wing off would the seals be alright to reuse. Being 11+ years old I figured they would be all dry rotted. The thing I was wandering is if you can get good results with the swirl remover if you do it by hand.

I took mine off one day because I was curious to see what it would look like without it. My car is a '93 and the seals were still in good shape. Never leaked before I took it off and still doesn't.
