polishing question hey im looking to do a custom 4inch intake well i was wondering what metal will polish up to a near mirror finish? stainless? alumnized steel?

Have the intake fabbed in aluminum. 
Stainless will polish, but there are different blends of stainless that don't clean up well. (swirly/cloudy/slightly dull) Plus stainless takes more effort/time to shine to the level of aluminum.... in addition aluminum will dissipate heat faster than stainless.
Aluminized steel is a dead end.
