+1 :judge:
Now that mine is done, everytime I see one without it done it doesn't look right to me.

if not done properly or was a hack job then by all means yes. im a fan of the ceta mod also a fan of the cars getting the full ceta treatment black roof and mirrors. which i plan to do as soon as i get my car painted most likely this summer. i did the ceta mod it i think it looks good so do a lot of people from what i have been told.

It depends on the color of the car and the color of the CETA paint mod. Obviously, if you have it painted some weird color it will look like crap. I saw a black T/A with a red CETA and that looked like total crap. As long as they are painted charcoal or black, they look okay.

I don't think it cheapens the look, i think it makes the rear stand out a little more and highlights your exhaust tips better. Ofcourse if done wrong or the colors clash than yeah.

Just like alot of appearance mods...if done wrong, wrong color, or anything the possibility is there to cheaapin the look.

i think flat black looks cheap but the satin looks Awesome

sdm1234 Apr 29, 2007 06:46 PM

i like the CETA mod, but think the berger panel painted cheapens it.

Pretyflywiteguy Apr 29, 2007 08:08 PM

I looked at the "before ceta" picture of my car and it doesn't look right to me.

EDIT:
forgot to add that it doesn't cheapen the look, IMO it makes it look more aggressive

pSSycotic Apr 29, 2007 08:13 PM

Ceta for t/a's all the way, but the berger to me looks out of place and cheap in most cases.

NHRAMAN Apr 29, 2007 08:15 PM

I prefer them all gloss black or not at all.

Sgt. Spuds Apr 29, 2007 10:41 PM

makes it look more aggressive..

I don't think there is a factory color for the TA that the CETA wouldn't look good on. Except maybe that GOLD color in 98. :thumbsdow

golds sexy dont hate on it. :)

CETA looks good and finishs the cars assend off nicely.
Berger looks cheap and tacky.

TXws6 Apr 29, 2007 11:28 PM

i think they both look great as long as they are done the right way! I have heard nothing but compliments on mine.

_JB_ Apr 29, 2007 11:37 PM

I don't like them 90% of the time.

Don't get it twisted, I'm all about the Gold, but with a black CETA I'm not sure it would look too good. Maybe somebody can find an ass shot of a Gold TA and Photoshop on a CETA mod.

vipert/a Apr 30, 2007 06:42 AM

yeah, if it's done right, and has the right color, then yeah it looks good. it makes the car look more recent/new/2007 being that all these new cars coming out have cetas. im sure they dont call it ceta though.

vipert/a Apr 30, 2007 06:44 AM

i would never ceta mine though. i'm a purist/stockist
