there should be no need to change the wiring since i took off my factory z28 spoiler and put on the ss ls1 spoiler the plugs were the same

mxmatt, can u take a picture standing beside the door showing the lip?

also, i was thinking that going from a 98-02 z28 spoiler to the lt1 ss spoiler u wouldnt have to do anything with wires right? because they both have the same non-led light?

the plug on my 99 camaro was the same so it plug right into the led light no mods at all

First off, there were no changes required to switch. All the wires fit the same as the z-28 spoiler.

As for the pictures, the car was rear ended last May. It was totalled. Otherwise I'd take some pics for ya.

Not even close, I was rear ended and the entire back up to the subframe connectors was messed up bad. The spoiler was broken in two pieces.

the mecham spoiler is great!

i like the lt1SS, but it migth flare more i think,

i bougth oem slp SS and like it

For the Z28 I deff like the LT1 SS spoiler better....and it looks great with the Sunoco hood. I have the RK Sport but I am picking up the SLP instead. I just reused my LS1's 3rd brake light and there was no wiring issues

Pre-paint and rims.....ran into some personal issues thats holding back paint for now. Makes my Garage pretty lol

hey matt surprised to see you on tech, and you beat me to it.
I have a pic of the spoiler from birdseye kinda and its after the wreck and you cant tell (besides the body lines)


also notice matts spoiler had the seam deleted.
Made it look 10x better
