ASC vs ASCD hood
ASC vs ASCD hood This may sound like a cut and dry answer but you never know! Is ASC and ASCD the same company? I know that ASC did the WS6 conversion for pontiac. What i was unsure of was a company called ASCD also makes an aftermarket ws6 style hood for the firebirds. With company's changing names as of lately i thought that they may be one in the same. True????
I want to say yes, but as stated I would call to make sure. When I was ordering my hood, it took extra long to get here, due to ASCD selling their company and going through a transition process. It was near impossible to get a hold of anyone, just a machine. They may have renamed the company and hopefully got a little more organized. I do recall seeing the whole business/shop for sale on eBay as well.
Reason im asking is i read that ASC did the factory hoods for the ws6's and i was considering buying one of them instead of VFN it it was faster and not much more $. I couldn't find ASC but did find ASCD online. VFN is taking 6-8 weeks when i called them last week.
