i think it makes it look really long and skinny and a lot worse than a body colored b-pillar. This is probably the reason they stopped this on camaros. Even nsx's stopped. There are other ways of being different. I think its your car and you need to do what you want, im just voicing my opinion like you asked

Dont do it!
I painted my white SS roof cap white to match the car and it made a huge improvement. With the black roof it does make the car look long... too damn long IMO. I think all F bodys look better propotioned and more sporty with body collor roofs and especially the mirrors.

And the CETA mod? I think that looks horrible too!
My '00 GTP had the CETA mod stock and it looked a hell of alot nicer than it does on the Fbodies. I still had that sucker repainted body color.

My white SS has a black sail panel on a white car and looks great, but call me stupid I hate them on a white TA. I think its because of the large rear spoiler, just makes it there is a cockpit bubble like a F-15, lol
