Plain fire-engine red probably wouldn't look so hot.
But if you got a red in the same color "family" (like those sample cards that paint stores have) you could probably get something that goes nicely with SOM. My guess is that it would be a red with just a subtle bit of an orange cast to it-a touch of cinnamon.

The new orange Z06 vettes have red callipers and look hot as hell. I think red would look fine with your color. Im not a SOM car, but Ive seen them with red callipers and love them. Do it, red callipers are universal for sweet looking with any body color.

i have an MMM car and i also thought red would not look good against my paint. what i did was painted them black and put the camaro decals on them... looks pretty good in my opinion although you can barely notice a black caliper... might wanna look into polishing them
