Default Pix of c2000ws6's engine bay w/relocated coils

Charlie just had his Heads and Cam installed recently and had Whistler (Targa Top Z28) paint his coils packs and relocate them

Instead of moving them to the firewall, Chris fabricated a couple of plates out of raw Carbon Fiber and mounted them directly onto the Fuel Rails

Here are a few pix I took at the FUEL **** meet last night:

That looks really good, but it would have been alot easier to just get some FRCs!

Can't you read, he said they were fabricated

My question is, will the stock length plug wires work? If so, I might try to fab some up at work sometime.

Yes I can read. I didn't see it when I read it. I was too busy looking at the pictures.

I don't like the look of the coil packs right on the fuel rails. The idea behind relocating them is to create space and to provide easy acess to plugs, valve covers, etc. It's even more ugle than a stock LS1. Whatever happened to being subtle?

With all that said, the fab work looks great. It's just not my taste which doesn't amount to anything since it's not my ride.

I agree with unit, great work just looks out of place IMO

Screw looks. It'd just be nice not to have to take off the coils to change your rear plugs or to take off the valve covers.

What's the point? I guess if you change spark plugs or pull the valve covers off often, it would make the job easier. Don't get me wrong, it looks clean, but seems pointless. Do you really want the extra weight put on the fuel rails? Are there reinforcement bracket of some kind? Hey, if it works for you then that's all that counts!
