Fiberglass hood: To Pin or Not to Pin
Hey fellas.
I am purchasing a US Exotic's WS9 hood, its fiberglass and looks great. The previous owner had it on his car and never used hood pins but quite a few people mention that I should put hood pins in it since its a Fiberglass construction.
What is your opinions?? Is it definitly needed or recommended. I honestly would not like to put pins in the hoods.
These are the pics of the hood.

i got my fiberglass hood put on yesterday, and i am DEFINITELY getting some pins put in. the way i was looking at it is that there is so much air coming in, pushing the hood up, and the hood is so light that it could lift off at any time!
i had originally bought some locking hood pins, they were very low profile, but unfortunately they dont work with fiberglass hoods..

Just use the stock latch...hood pins look no good on TA's unless its a full out strip car. Ive got the WS9 Outlaw hood and use the stock latching system and everything...works fine for me.
