Default My very own car whoring thread...she's all growns up! (Go make 56k sandwiches)

Hey guys,

I've been poking around the detailing section for quite a while and decided to take some pictures of the latest projects and post a few up. I've got a few more things to do such as paint the Sonoco hood and get my Fikses put on when they FINALLY get back from being powdercoated. Anyway, here are a few pictures of some of the crap I've done.

Background:

2002 Camaro SS Black on Black 6 Speed

Motor mods in sig.

Won best of show @ G10 and in my class, a few runners up...mainly because I was there to drink beer...not wax a car after driving 500 miles.

Exterior:

The tag...

The car... (Honest it's stock...the sticker is an inside joke with a few buds)

The exhaust...

The rear seat delete... (color is much closer in person and is not wavy as it seems in the pics)

The back T-top area cover... (for the hell of it cause I had extra carpet)

Waiting to go on after centers are powdercoated...

Engine Bay...

Tell me what you guys think. She's a work in progress so go easy on me.

Nice! Just wondering, the rear seat delete do you have any plans to get rid of the seatbelt holes?

That I do sir. I've got plans to wrap all of my plastic interior trim pieces with vinyl so just a bit of abs plastic, some glue, sand paper and then the vinyl and poof...they're gone.

I'll be doing that after the roll bar, seats and new carpet/floor mats.

Very nice did you polish everything yourself? I polished my exhaust that was kind of a waste and I was going to do the TB but painted it instead. Went to polish the maf ends tonight and didnt have any more compound and did not want to take the time to sand it by hand so I painted it also.

sweet looking ride. Very clean and love the attention to detail under the hood. Not too much polish but just enough. I want to see pics with the new wheels on.

The polishing is actually very easy to maintain. I drive the hell out of the car but I guess since I just spend about 10-15 minutes on the polishing every time I wash the car, it just basically stays just like that all the time.

Sorry for the close up pictures. I will have some far away ones soon enough when I get the wheels wrapped in rubber and the hood gets some paint. I just shot some close ones for the detail I did a while back.

Thanks for the comments guys. It's no where near done. I've got a good bit I didn't show in these pictures. I'll make a new thread when the new pictures are done after the work and show you everything.

Thanks again guys.
