Default Finally gave in... Bought Projectors, selling the Whistlers!!!

On Thursday I ordered a set of projector headlights like these:

I will disconnect the LED's before I install them... If I have time I will open the headlights up, REMOVE the LED's and ridges, smooth it out and then respray the whole inside a darker black.

Also contemplating making my own rings to change the color to blue...

That last part is more lengthy and therefore will probably cause me to just pimp them as is for awhile first

Anyways, my car is changing a little again... I am getting these headlights and I removed these stripes:

and have replaced them with a simple flat black stripe (to match the car's no-flash race theme better).

I have no work I can do on the car right now so I'm posting this thread

I'll update with pics asap !

In the meantime, if anyone wants to buy my old Whistlers check out this link:

Yeah I always felt that projectors needed a darker housing, good call! I also think you made a good decision by removing the old side stripes, I think they will look better without the white pinstripes.....

Good choice. The flash in the first pic doesn't do the lights justice. They are darker than that. I have added a couple of pics of mine during the day. I also recommend you run HID's with these. The light output is not that good with the provided halogen bulbs. Also here is a link if you want to disable the LED's but keep the halo's https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/774871-projector-light-reject-mod-how.html

should have just retrofitted real projectors in there instead of foglights. A lot more custom looking too than an ebay product but to each their own. I think the black will look better on the hood than those stripes too

The black is PERFECT! It is subtle, so you have to look for it but it also matches the Berger perfectly !

Alrighty! All is done ! I'm heading off to snap a couple of pics (and mail out my old headlights) right now

I'll be back and post new pics soon... In the meantime, if any of you guys have broken/stripped headlight brackets I am selling a set:

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion... Even if it is WRONG

They really do look cool in person, especially since the Eagle Eyes (that's what these are called guys, not Halos, not Angel Eyes but they are stamped Eagle Eyes) only light up when the NITROUS is activated

Uploading pics now...

Here you go! The car was dirty so I just snapped a couple of quick pics. After I wash it Friday I'll take more pics and post a new thread this weekend. For now, here's a taste

The satin is reflecting the sun badly in these pics but I assure you it looks GREAT and is one consistent satin black color and matches the berger perfectly:

...and a couple of headlight shots:

What do you guys think?

HOLY *****! That looks sick. How's the gap and light beam? Are you using the supplied bulbs? Can this be used w/ 9006 HIDs?
