what is a W68 package?

If I'm not mistaking I beleive it's the V6 firebird that came with GFX.

The w68 package is the base model firebird appearance package. Basically the same as the Camaro RS package.

W68 is the sport appearance package for Firebirds, which consited of a OEM body kit(side skirts, rear bumper skirts), it added a muffler with dual exhaust tips. I know because my sister has a 1997 W68 Firebird, hers is fully loaded with all options except leather.

I had a som 02 with this option, v6 but it was def 1 of a kind never seen an som one besides mine.

One thing that I have noticed, was this option only availabe to v6 models? I've never seen a W68 Formula, but I think it would look cool and deceiving!

Yeah the option is only available on the v6 models. Scrws6 or something like that has a formy and bought the w68 kit though. Looks great
