Default Firehawk Hood Fitment

hey guys, i have a 2000 formula and want the firehawk hood, i checked on the slp website and it says i need the firehawk formula front bumper cover also, i dont see why i would but i dont know much about it, my question is will the firehawk hood fit on my formula with the factory formula bumper? or are there aftermarket versions of the firehawk hood that will work and where might i find them? thanks!

A real firehawk hood with a stock bumper cover requires cutting a bit of the bumper cover off where the hood and it overlap. If you know what you're doing, it takes less than 10 minutes to do it. The center doesn't line up exactly, but neither does the SLP bumper (the badge is what covers the slight difference ).

I think it would, but you would have to cut it. I could be wrong though.

I want a firehawk hood too. IMO its the best hood for ANY bird.

I had one put one on my regular formula and no you don't have to buy a seperate bumper just trim up what you got. Check out my photobucket in my signature for comparison pics and to see what was trimmed.
