what would it look like to just take the fog lights out...or the whole grill?

ooooh, I like that. They are at GM Parts Direct. I'm told the part #'s are # 10182056 and # 10182057 for left and right.

Look at some turbo LT1s with the whole grill area cut out for a front mount to get a idea

not just a 1LE thing.....I had those on my 96 V6, could have been a V6 1LE but it sure felt like only 200 hp
