the story- my friend showed up at my house one day and told me, i'm taking something from your car. this was last winter (sorry never got around to posting about it) and my car was under the cover. he asked me not to look at my car so it would be a surprise. hes big in the VW scene and this kinda stuff is normal to them. they are all about being unique while all of us are guilty of having owned TT2s at one point in our lives (myself included). lets here some opinions. this is one of my favorite mods on my car.

what the tinting?

socmguy 12-24-2007 10:14 PM

I don't really see what you're talking about either

I did the same mod to my Dodge Ram but did a lot darker. All it is, is a can of nite shades paint. Easy mod that does a killer difference in my opinion.

film tint to the reverse lights only. its usually done in the opposite, tint everything but the reverse lights. i didn't realize it was hard to tell that only that part was tinted. what do you guys think about it?

i'm actually feeling that, i might just lose my covers in favor of this

Never really cared for the look myself, but it is better than having the blackout covers.

doesnt look that differant to me, so to me it seems pointless
