im happy with the way it turned out. it is glossy instead of being flat looking

looks good. how many coats did u do? did u spray any clear coat?

10x better IMO good job, people rag on blacking out the tail lights, but they dont understand that for certain colors (like your and mine) the stock ones don't match anything and just don't look good

thanks guys!! i used about 3-4 coats. really about 3 but i touched it up in a few places it was lighter than others so 3-4. and i used duplicolor truck/suv clear and drenched them in clear coat lol

yea i know i love the look of it! our cars are body color and black so the red and orange just really dont fit in

^^I avoid drips by holding the can a fair distance from what is being sprayed....once you go too close or spray too much paint thats when you run into drips....

i guess i did get pretty lucky. i waited about 5-7min. between coats of niteshade. i waited til the niteshade was dry to the touch then put the clear coat on and i put it on really heavy til it was at the line where anymore would make it run. waited about 10-15 min. and did the same thing again. i let them dry for maybe 2 hours and they were dry to the touch you could pick them up with no problems..which is good b/c i had to get them back on the car to be somewhere lol

My only concern is with visibility. It would suck that a school bus driver failed to see your brake lights....does it takes away too much brightness?? Looks very nice BTW!

Nah, my doesn't take hardly any brightness away. Looks good. I need to clear coat mine still.
