I had that hood on my 00 SS which I sold. The hood fit extremely bad, it did not fit my slp lid and I doubt it fits with the stock lid too. I had to cut the scoop so the lid would partially show through the hood. It would be good if you had the k&n that was with the cutout of the hood the air would go directly into the filter. The sides didn't fit well and I had to use hood pins in the front corners to align the hood with the bumper and fenders. The extractor holes come covered with fiberglass pieces which can be removed so that it is functional. From my experience, it would be a good hood to be used in road racing because of its many functions ( intake placement, and extractors) but if your looking for a shop piece this is not the hood for you. Here is a picture of what I mean about the intake showing, its not very noticeable but others wouldn't like it showing.

Made me think of the Ferrari 550/575 also... I actually bought one a while ago, though never installed it, and me and a few friends are in the process of glassing over the vents, to just leave the scoop. I was really thinking of trying to build a hood with the Ferrari style scoop, because I like how its integrated INTO the hood, and not looking like its tacked on top of an existing hood... but when I saw this hood, I figured it might just be easier to use it as a base and modify it. Ill post pics when I ever get it finished, though I have so many damn projects going at once it could be a while! haha
