Look what came in the mail today :)
I think its pretty cool.. its a company called In The News ( www.inthenewsonline.com ) and they contact people that are in magazines and offer to laminate their feature. No up-front charge, so they send you the product and if you like it you keep it (who wouldnt?) if you dont like then you return and owe nothing..
Here it is..
They are also going to do one of my 67 Camaro from when it was in a magazine back in the day
Cost of this was about $70... now to find some wall space

That's awesome. I like the engraved plaque on the bottom. Very nice. I don't think I've seen that pic with that background before.

Do those pictures make you go faster?
kinda pointless, I thought most people modified there car for better performance, to go faster, push the limits...not look pretty.
To each his own.

kinda sensitive there, aren't ya Steve.
I think its mandatory for all of us to take care of/clean our rides. I asked if the pictures make you go faster? Don't get me wrong, its a decent lookin car, is it driven much? just very clean.
Personally, I would be content knowing how great my ride was, I don't do it for others, I don't need the 'validation'.
And I was in this section originally looking for seats for my car, as the stock SS seats suck, I'm sure you'd agree with that.

If I was sensitive I would have just deleted your comment..
Your question of "do the pictures make it faster?" was pointless and obviously designed to flame the idea of doing appearance modifications.
We all post pics of our cars in this section.. I suppose one could say its "validation" and its nice to get the comments of your peers, much like a drag racer posts about a new best time.. is he looking for "validation" as well??
Lets see, is it driven.. well it has over 22k miles on it so i guess the answer is yes.. I drove it over 300 miles to Phoenix to compete in the Super Chevy show then raced it the next weekend at the Buttonwillow Raceway near Bakersfield. But its not "daily" driven I still don't see your point about coming in here to slam people that care about apperance? Are you that narrow minded to think its ALL about the 1320? I would be happy to road race you in my pretty show car for say $500 if your interested? Im sure I could arrange some track time at Buttonwillow -- whatcha say?
You seem to have more issues than just needing new seats..

I must get my magazine done by them! Quick question Steve, do you have to send in the magazine to them? I only have one copy left thats in perfect condition and I am iffy on sending it out. If they have their own library of mags that would be great. Some reason I think it is unlikely. What was the turnaround time for them to get it to you?

They have most magazines in their archives.. I didnt have to send them one. They will probley want the Name, issue, date and all that stuff from you. Very nice service and I like how they send you the product BEFORE you pay.. but be warned, this will not make you car faster
