Default what is the color of my car. its a stock firebird color

what is the color of my car. its a stock firebird color
i bought my firebird about 6 months ago. i noticed it used to be mystic metallic green..
but then it was painted the color you see below.. which is a green metallic color.
i thought maybe it wasnt a factory gm color..but i saw a 93-97 v6 firebird locally with the same color..
so what is the color name and color code? i need some parts painted.

theres no sticker and it wouldnt help anyway. it didnt come from the factory this color. it used to be a mystic teal...and then someone painted it a solid color. is there a way to find the colors used on the 93-97 v6 firebirds? because its from one of them since i saw one identical to it. i also seen a pontiac sunfire with the same color.

there are 2 green colors that were used on these cars... BGM (blue green metallic) which is also called mystic teal, and there is a bright green metallic which looks exactly like the paint on that car... i posted the paint code for it so you can check into that and see if it is right. the color code i posted is not mystic teal.

Definitely blue green metallic. My 94 v-6 firebird was the exact same color.

Factory uses gray primer. We'll see how hard it is to paint this spring when I repaint some parts on my car. I was told when I bought the pint of paint that it's not guaranteed to match since it's a color change pearlized paint. The front on my car had been repainted before I bought it since it had gotten in a small accident that cracked the nose. I couldn't tell it had been repainted. It appeared to match really well but under certain light conditions I can see it's a slightly different shade.

Defintely NOT a BGM car...

Looks more like a BGC to me. Blue Green Chameleon. 79U is the paint code for BGC.

Your car->

A BGC car->

^mine doesnt change colors. its one solid color with metallic in it. it does look just like the green used in the Mystic Teal though.. it actually used to be Mystic Teal..inside of the doors and inside of the trunk is Mystic Teal. i guess the previous owner couldnt afford the Mystic Teal so he bought a cheaper paint. they only painted the outside of the car. cheap paint job.

Ok guys, LS1 cars, like the pic above and the other one, were BRIGHT GREEN METALLIC...

Everyone is telling you the car is BLUE GREEN METALLIC which is what was used on LT1 cars...

You can't just abbreviate and assume you are talking about the same thing

mine is a 98 but it didnt come with the color. someone painted it that color.
i seen a pre 98 with the same color though that came like that from the factory. it was a v6 with the old style tail lights. so whatever color was use on those is what mine is.

So it's just regular teal then and not Mystic Teal(blue green chameleon on the birds)?

could be many of the "green" or "teal" colors that pontiac put out in those years but,looks like it may be the Medium Teal Metallic code # 31/WA130A, Misty Teal Metallic # 34U/WA218B, or the Dark Calypso Green Metallic # 92/WA115A. But there are plenty more colors that could fit.
