Do 4th gens have a cabin filter? specifically 98 model If so. Where at?

go buy a can of febreeze, put it in your glove box, then when ever the air is starting to smell like ***, spray away!

i just looked in my gm parts catalog. i dont see one listed for a 98. im pretty sure none of them do from 98-02.

They don't man, but it would've been nice if they had one. It tends to smell like moisture from time to time, a filter would get rid of contaminants on the ducts.

There's an A/C treatment spray I've seen in auto stores that I use. It's meant to kill mildew and crap from the HVAC system. Gets rid of smoker's smell too. I've used it every year on my cars and have managed to keep it smelling more or less new.

yes that is where the hvac box pulls the air in from. on the passanger side.

when i had my heater box out to cut the AC portion off, (i still have heat in my car but cut the ac portion off and bonded the box to the block off plate) i cleaned everything in the fan area and blew out my vents. my car didn't smell bad before, but i have a feeling it will be less dusty smelling now...

Is there a way to get to the evaporator to clean it so the AC would cool better? Sorry for getting off topic...
