Looks pretty good! What housings did you go with? |
theyre stock |
is it just the camera or do they have a purple tint? Any chance of a write up? or did you use a write up that you could point me to? |
Looks good! |
its just the camera that makes it look purple a bit in some of the shots.its pure white with a hint of blue.no write up but we may start selling bolt in kits with instructions for less than the other guys out there.we literally spliced 2 wires and the rest was plug and play. |
I'd be interested in hearing how you are doing this as a plug n play. I've got a pair of Eurolamp conversions that I considered placing HID's in them. But if you guys have a plug n play kit, I'm all ears. |
:werd: |
ill get some pictures up tomorrow showing under the hood.everything is totally factory looking and hidden.ill have the other guy who helped build it post up as well. |
as promised everything is hidden.if u cant read the caption it says that the wires you see are for my dual electric fans.the HID wiring is hidden completely. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15.../hidden001.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15.../hidden002.jpg |
alright look guys.. i'm going to be sending the proper pms out to the mods to see about doing this legit.. i didn;t realize how many people were gunna be interested in such a kit.. the way the kits are made plug and play is that i work for a delco distyributor.. i pick up the weather pack connectors and relays from work.. the relay actually gets power on his car from the positive post over by the fuse box.. and then to any chassis ground.. you then splice into the factory headlight harness for your signal to the relay.. every thing else is prewired and cut to length.. its all very simple actually.. i'm using brand new wagner or sylvania housings with metal backs to prevent melting or issues.. heres the biggest thing guys.. this is not going to be a job for me.. i work a 9 to 5 and it takes a few hrs to punch these things out.. any one interested feel free to pm me.. as i am not a site sponsor and i'll keep you updated as to how things pan out.. Sounds good. |
what temp bulbs are those? |
the pics dont do them justice.theyre a real true white with a slight tint of blue.theyre 7k's |
i love HID's. everyone one of my cars has a set. once u go HId's ull never go back. halogen lighting is just obsolete! |
So I dont get it, arent the stock lights sealed beam?? How is it just a 2 wire splice if you have to cut a hole in the back and mount them, seal them, wire them, put in relays and such?? not trying to be an a hole lol...just asking? And the kits can be bought on ebay for $70 so there has to be more work than you were stating is all? |
I'm guessing that they are doing the cutting, mounting, sealing and wiring for you ahead of time. |
im in i have been dying for a set for the ta i hate the light now especially versus my 2008 subaru legacys headlights it is literally night and day i am in and buying asap keep us posted thanks. |
Will this work on LT1 headlights? |

Will this work on LT1 headlights? I guess it could work, but you wouldn't have any high beams. But with HID's, who needs high-beams anyways? |
