Default Wire mod done

Well I got bored the other day so I did the wire mod. only think now it where the wires were looks like what did you guys do to clean it up? I really don't feel like painting the entire fenderwell.

I'll have to post up some pics when I get off work.

Yea post up pics. All the ones I have done only had some fading and not wearinf through the paint. I just used scratch x and they cleaned up really well.

it didn't wear the paint its just really dirty looking but it wont wash off so it's not dirt and I can see the marks from where the plastic wire covers were.

It looks good.

What I did with mine was wet sand the fender with ultra fine sand paper (very softly) then polished it with Meguires cleaner wax, and it turned out real well. Now of course I did have to touch up the scratched places first.

i just looked at the top then in the fenderwell then on top then in the fenderwell over and over lol. I drilled a small hole where I thought I would want it then went off that. I'll tell you though it took me a while to start drilling I was nervous haha

yeah I thought I was going to end up with a hole in my PCM or the harness lol.

Did you do drill from inside the fenderwell into the engine bay?

Drilling the hole for the hood cable was a PITA!!!! I didn't take out the inner fenderwell plastic on that side so I drilled it from the top and it was a pain!

I did this to my car a while ago. Drilling the hole is a pain, but after it's done, the work is well worth it. Although you did a whole different hole for the hood latch cable. I'll snap a few pics of my holes when I get home today... I went through a notch near the hood arm thingies(sorry, don't know what they're called lol)
